we will guarantee that our uPVC products will retain the appearance and function for 20 years from the date of installation under natural weathering conditions.
This guarantee is insurance backed and transferable meaning, should you sell your house within the 10 year period, you can give the new owners the same assurance you have had.
All white products come with a manufacturer’s 20 year guarantee on top of the 10 years offered by Roofline Design.

Some of the key changes to the TrustMark core criteria include:
Firmer standards. The old core criteria spoke about scheme operators using "best endeavours" to meet certain standards, and gave "examples" of checks and activities that they might use to demonstrate compliance. Now the core criteria talks about scheme operators' requirements ("scheme operators must...").
More specific standards. For example, whereas before scheme operators had to have a general commitment to raising standards, now they need to show how they are raising standards to address identified areas of consumer detriment and other trade-specific issues.
More vetting of tradesmen, including specific checks that must be done on firms upon entry to the scheme, but also at renewal stage or on an ongoing basis.
More proactive use of complaints data by scheme operators, more reporting of that data, more transparency in the complaints process.
Changes to protect the brand and reduce misuse of the TrustMark logo.
A new requirement for scheme operators to develop ways to measure the effectiveness of their code of practice and how it reduces consumer detriment and to keep it regularly reviewed in the light of changing customer expectations in their sector.
Working alongside TrustMark existing scheme operators have 12 months to adapt to the new core criteria. The core criteria will also be reviewed and updated every year from now on to maintain the drive for higher standards.

FairTrades members go through a rigorous vetting procedure requiring the following; we look at the length of time a business has been trading; we check to ensure that our member companies have a clean legal history and a good credit rating; we obtain, corroborate and continuously update customer references. These checks ensure that the public know they are hiring professional home improvement specialists when they choose to use a FairTrades member.

How do you vet prospective members?
All applicants are pre-screened and told that they will be interviewed, vetted and monitored – and the results, good and bad, will be made public. This alone deters a lot of trades who know that they their service is substandard. We ensure that the trades and services know that we are a consumer information service and that we have to remain unbiased. Our procedures for handling negative comments and complaints are clearly explained.
Our trained staff assess the applicants suitability and will then arrange an interview. To pass our vetting procedure we request:
Qualifications - we require proof that the applicant is qualified to undertake their chosen profession (e.g. Gas Safe, Part P).
Insurance - we require proof that they hold Public Liability and combined insurance if they employ people.
Proof of address - we require proof of the company’s trading address in the form of a utility bill or credit check, dependant on the type of company.
Identification - we require photo identification (passport, driver’s licence etc).
Referees - we require details of up to 10 previous customers (minimum of 6) for whom they have completed work for in the last 12 months for us to contact.
Code of Conduct and Ethics - we require the applicant to sign to agree to follow them.
Credit Check on Limited Companies - we perform a Credit Check on applicants that are Limited and Limited Liability Partnership companies to check their financial history.
In addition we look at length of experience and the company’s history as well as VAT and company legal status.

It is a requirement that all Swish Installers complete their fittings to a high quality standard, which allows them to take sufficient time to complete the job without added pressure or stress to work too quickly which could result in cutting corners and a lower standard finish.
Swish Installers are required to perform high quality installations, allowing themselves the time to do so without pressure to cut corners either in workmanship or customer service.
