Why choose a fascia and soffit replacement instead of overcladding?
Overcladding is a cheap alternative to a full replacement, simply covering up damaged areas. While it is more affordable, and looks fine on installation, we’re increasingly seeing clients who have originally chosen this cheaper option and found that it just doesn’t last.
Cheap overcladding can crack, warp and flake, making existing problems worse and costing more in the long run. A full replacement with uPVC fascias, soffits and barge boards is durable, weather resistant, and long lasting. Coloured uPVC means there’s no need for painting, so your finish will last for much, much longer.
Create the roofline you want
Even in an emergency, you shouldn’t have to settle for anything less than the perfect fit for your home.
At Roofline Design, our fascia boards are available in a range of colours, and our unique colour-match promise covers our entire range of products – including guttering, windows, doors and conservatories.
Colour-matched fixing pins, corner trims and accessories are also available, so everything can match.

Replacing old timber rooflines or cheap overcladding with our uPVC is an aesthetically pleasing permanent cure for damp in the home, adding value to your property, with a 20-year guarantee.
Hard-wearing, low maintenance uPVC fascia boards
Fascias and soffits play an essential role in preventing damp from entering your home. Traditionally, this part of the roofline will have been constructed from timber, but uPVC plastic has increasingly become the leading choice.
Old, rotten and discoloured fascias and soffits can spoil the look of your property and – more seriously – let damp in. A complete replacement with Swish’s uPVC Euroboard offers better thermal insulation than brick, concrete or timber, is designed for low maintenance and durability, and can give your home’s roofline a fresh new lease of life.
Supplied with up to 20-year guarantee against discolouration, warping and cracking.
